Ofurotaimu News Pool : October 2010

Hello hello, there will be a proper mod post later on, but I'm posting all the stuff I need to introduce now. So for now, let me explain this post.

Since there are so many news and info out there, Vocaloid and utattemita-related, I do not have the time and luxury to scour through sites to get all of them and compile them into one post regularly. That's why most of my news posts are in Twitter, which is kind of tacky and unreachable (because I spam a lot). Also, there are news people comment in my news posts which aren't seen when people do not look at comments.

So, let's just have a news pool every month? Basically, this is a post where everyone, even those with OPEN ID accounts and even those who are Anon, can post Vocaloid and utattemita-related news that they read in the web, heard through the grapevine, etc. This post will be open the whole month and people can freely comment with news and info they gathered. By the end of the month, the post will be closed and news of stuff which haven't happened yet (for example, CD releases in December, etc.) will be transferred to another post for the following month.

Just some rules to make the post orderly.
• make sure the news item you share hasn't been shared yet in any of the comments;
• make sure that you are reporting something that hasn't happened yet ^^;
• post the news as a parent thread, not as a comment to another comment;
• write a blurb on the title on what the news is about so it'd be easy to find;

e.g.; [Utattemita] Mi-chan releasing a single in Vocaloid Master (11-14-10)

• write the date! And source, like an official website or nicovideo link if possible; and
• feel free to comment on the news post or fangirl, since all comments under the parent comment (the one with the news) will be considered fannish stuff.

I will edit this post periodically with the title of the news shared + link to the comments so they'll be easy to find. Feel free to bookmark or track this post! I hope with this, people will be more willing to share info that they know ♥!

According to the PointFive (.5) namahousou a few days ago, Mi-chan is set to release a single this coming Vocaloid Master Market on November 14, 2010. He did not say the contents of the single, but apparently, it's mostly solo works (?).

I wonder if this is related to his new circle (which he spent countless namahousous trying to think up a name for before finally deciding on [Mixture Voice Channel]. Anyway, YAY GO MI-CHAN! <3

yes.. this single is dedicated to Nana-chan... even the single title is 「７」 wwwwwww

Mi-chan's album, aside from being sold in VoMas, is available in Lagoa.

On October 17 at 13:00, Nico Nico Douga will hold a sports fest (Undoukai) with the teams composed of various personalities in Nico Nico Douga. There will be people from U-15, Men's Knuckle, JASRAC, and of course the utattemita category.

The Utaite Team will have Mi-chan, Pokota, Dasoku, Yuge, Sekihan, Yamadan, So-ma and Gero.

The live gate is here and is supposedly free XD.

StiRise consisting of Veige (IDK why the spelling changed), Kettaro and Shige opened their MySpace page and will be releasing their first mini album during M3 (10-31). You can hear samples of their songs in the page.

They all changed the spelling for StiRise. Veige, Kei, and Cige ^^

If you can remember that visual novel game Tourai sang "Ai no Uta" for, it's going to have a drama CD. The drama CD will have a bonus DVD of Tourai singing (it's described as a PV, but IDK really ^^;).

Utaite-san PLUS famous seiyuu = Kiss of Voice

According to Kiss of Voice Namahousou, the utaite members are Kogeinu, Yuge, YU, Yukyan, YNG, Limone-sensei, Hanagoe, Kouhei.
The Seiyuu members are Sugita Tomokazu, Kaji Yuuki, and Kusuda Toshiyuki. OF COURSE there will be more famous seiyuu in it!! XDDD

They will also have a live in Oosaka ~~unfortunately~~

Piko is scheduled to have a one-man concert on December 30, 2010 in Omiya Sonic City. Ticket sales have also begun.

Luschka, Asamaru, Mi-chan, Sekihan, Vin, etc. will participate in Namara Live @ Sapporo this January 2011.

Tickets will be sold on November.

Marasy (you know him if you know Usa and Tolie, I think) is going to release an album named "V I P" or "Vocaloid Instrumental on Piano". In the album will be piano covers of popular Vocaloid songs like Roshin Yuukai, magnet, JBF, etc. The cover is really classy.

Soraru and ShounenT will release a CD together on Nov. 14 at THE VOC@LOiD M@STER 14 event.
It will have acoustic and piano arranges of jimmythumbP songs.
Piano will be played by Luschka and illustration will be done by MAKKO.

Fuuga Naoto, the voice source for Vocaloid KAITO, is to release an album sometime this December and Jack is one of the people he's going to collab with. He and Jack will sing Sennen no Dokusou ka for the album.

from the people who brought you MGS and Starry Sky, the third CD "New Wave" has a lot of under-appreciated but good singers.

This new CD will have singers like H+ero, Turbo, Vivienne, Kakichoco, Lon, Erushi and Luschka.
