As with last year, here is the huge annual utattemita ranking for 2011. As all of these songs have been featured in the Weekly Utaran (multiple times even!), I won't be including small details. I'll just be including the Romanized title, the singer, and the original composer. As my Internet is acting up as usual, I wasn't able to include links to the mylists and all that but I hope you understand :).

The Annual Utattemita Ranking is made up of several parts, all of them will be listed here in reverse order unlike my usual style. Let's look at them one by one :).

HAPPY 150th Utaran!

Wow, it seems like it hasn't been long since the 100th ranking! It means I've been doing this forever, huh? XD Anyway, you thought the Maji Love fever is gone? THINK AGAIN. Also, there's a lot of Cosmos covers, which probably makes otetsu a happy guy :D.

This week doesn't have a lot of popular utaite, but it's a good week because there are new/less popular utaite rising to the top with covers that are really worth listening to. Also, my deadline weeks have started once again at work, and after writing chemistry and physics articles the whole day, my brain kind of fizzed and died. ATTENTION: Apparently, the MAJI LOVE COVER phase is 1000% STILL NOT OVER. So we're getting them by the bulk this week, some of them cracky, some of the....wait. ALL OF THEM CRACKY. Which is probably the reason why I'm writing in caps today. Apparently, the large amount of Maji Love I watched today has affected my cracky mentality! /shot

Seriously, though, there are only a few remaining from the previous week and there are a lot of wonderful songs this week. Of course, there's still the Shiryokukensa madness (a few), and lots and lots of collabs, which means you'll be seeing new names today :). Anyway, I'll stop rattling like a parrot and get on with the ranking.

I'm so late. Sorry. There's a lot going on right now which I can't enumerate so yeah. The Vocaran is also late. I'll...upload it tomorrow. I really am very sorry T_T;

Anyway, this week has a bandwagon song and that's 40mP's Shiryokukensa, so you'll be seeing a lot of eyesight test covers today. There's quite a few returners this week, too, if you might notice. There are also some repeating names (Glutamine, 96neko, Wotamin...) but there are also a lot of left-overs from the previous week. Anyway, it's not a letdown or an impressive week, pretty normal but there are still a lot to check out.

Today's week is interesting for two reasons: 1) there's a new CM meme people will cover over the next days; 2) There is quite a large number of covers of non-Vocaloid songs.

The CM I'm talking about is this one. If I'm not mistaken, this is an ad for a deodorant and the singing boy does not seem to have any connection to the product aside from the fact that he is cute. Of course, when covers come up, crack ensues. You do the discovering XD.

As mentioned in the past post, the utaran is now color-coded according to the colors in the Utaran video.

This week is a bit late due to some problems with Nico Nico Douga's encoding system. Anyway, this week will have a lot of old faces rising up due to 1) a newly released album, 2) someone being just plain popular, and 3) the new number 1. As expected, two things are moving this week's ranking: 1) The Heart Sutra madness in Vocaloid-dom, which affected this side, too and 2) Jimmythumb's Calc, which already has tons of covers. Sadly, I am VERY biased with Calc covers (I like only ONE. And it's not in NND /shot). Plus, there's still remnants of Shinbakusuu #0822 and some of the returners are still persistent in staying. This is an interesting ranking, quite lively compared to the two previous ones. Surprisingly, I'm most interested in the top 10 new up ranking instead of the top 30. I'm really bad at updating regularly. I'm sorry. Anyway, I plan on updating a lot today/tomorrow, so please be prepared! It is ~~Janna~~ Halloween after all~. Right now, I have 19 songs I picked up from the October list in Nico Nico Douga. I excluded the Halloween stuff because those are to come later. I also excluded some...for a reason to come later in another post. ]

New Shiny Stuff

It's been more than a week since I updated with new utattemita stuff so it's another search in the avalanche at Nico XD;. Anyway, today's batch features popular people like Wotamin, Valshe, Kazukin and Gom, but there are also other wonderful people which we do not see often.

Because of the recent Nico tag cleanup, there are less funny tags to read in each song so I didn't include them anymore :(.

Under the cut are the songs as usual. Links lead to Nicovideo and you can paste them in nicosound to get the .mp3, as long as the song is not limited to community viewing ;3.
