Weekly Vocaloid Ranking # 246 (June 11-18, 2012)

This week, Luka rules the ranking, placing both 1 and 2! There's also a surprising KAITO track, a few more IA, and still a lot of GUMI and Miku. As usual, most of the songs in this ranking are rockish, but you might want to check out the ballads and electropop scattered in between. My comments are sparse today, but still. Enjoy!

• Title means "Mechanical Clown". This is a remake of the one below. As usual, GigaP's tuning is amazing! The melody was also changed, it has more of electrojazz than before, plus a very catchy beat. However I had the feeling the melody doesn't fit the song's themes, but since it's Luka AND GigaP, it doesn't sound awkward at all XD;

• Title means "The Sound of You". KEI's Luka once again shone through this bouncy rock track with a generous helping of echoey keyboard melody. This sounds so very KEI that comments aren't needed. But the lyrics are quite meaningful.

• Title means "Here is the Happiness and Peace of Mind Committee". The title was so long, I didn't expect the rhythm. It's a strange ballad with beats that drop heavily in the background. The lyrics are a bit strange for me, but I don't know XD;.

• NioP presents us with another pretty track, not much of a ballad but with a beautiful piano melody that rises at the choruses, paired with his signature high-pitched but sweet-sounding Miku.

• I like the sexy jazzy tinge YuchaP applies to most of his songs, including this one. Luka's sultry voice fits the fast-paced but sassy track. I can't help but notice the very subtle drums, they sound awesome.

• Title means "Talking Demon and Machine Gun". This lacks a bit of punch, especially since it has a nice, fast rock melody similar to...well, most of the fast rock songs we've been having. It would be nice if the guitars were a little sharper and there's less muffled noise.

• Eeeee! One more of TakanonP's sweet-flavored pop rock songs. The beat might seem a bit familiar because it sounds similar to "Kimi Omoi, Kataomoi", especially with GUMI's high but cute vocals.
