Introduce Yourself Post.

Hello. This is the sort-of intro post for commenters/readers of ofurotaimu. Remember I said I welcome people to post pimp posts of their own? But I think I might've scared people off or something, idk, but it's not working LOL. So, this is like a replacement for it.

I talk a lot in the community (super lots) but I don't know much about you guys except for those times we flail around in the comments. And it's a bit lonely not knowing people, especially those who aren't registered in LJ or DW since I only know you by name (or worse, IP address, wtf). So, take this as a survey for me and other readers to know more about you and the things that make you happy :). Who knows, you might also meet people who have the same flail material as you do.

So, if you frequent this comm whether you use DW/LJ or none, please please fill this out. All fields are optional, don't answer some questions if you don't want to. I'd love to know everyone's favorites and how you got into the fandom :3. As for the favorites part, take it as your kind of "pimp post" for your favorites so feel free to include links and spazz and whatnot :D. It's your spotlight, so write whatever you want. Just remember, this is a public post which can be read by people everywhere even from Jupiter :D.

How? Uhhmm I don’t really know about vocaloids since there are no internets in provinces before. When I got to study here in Manila, someone asked me if I know Hatsune Miku and I ignorantly answered “No. Who is that?” --Voca fans might hate me. Lol He didn’t actually say a decent answer but he showed me his neondroid of her and when I got home, I began searching about vocaloids. Since then I started collecting vocaloid songs, but I only save those that sounded human.

I’ve seen some covers in YT before, not knowing there are such things as utaite. XD

@.@ Got surprised, it was actually Senka’s Pierrot (stupid PV who told you to make me cry T.T)and I just recently knew that he’s a trap singer. 2nd was Rumdarjun’s Lost Story and then ShounenT & Rumdarjun’s Hoshi no Uta <--Got hooked in ShounenT’s voice that I started searching and loving utaites more than vocaloids.

My Favorite is definitely Gumi but I also listen to Luka, Rin, Len and Miku. I find Kaito’s voice really good too but I can’t find any decent songs @.@ I haven’t got to know other vocaloids yet. XD
◕ favorite producers: Deco27, 40mP, Last Note, Hachi, Supercell/Ryo, BuzzG, KuroUsa, Nanou, Noboru, Minato… I don’t really look for producers work but whenever I see Pv’s of the songs I like, these are the names I see. XD
◕ favorite solo singers/utaite: For Male Utaite I’m loving Soraru, Amatsuki, Gero, Glutamine & Shounent. For Female I love Hanatan, Vivienne, Wotamin but I also listens a lot to other utaite if I find good covers. I don’t why but when I search songs in YT I usually see male covers that’s why I think I become to love Male utaites more that female. For trap singers I like Viptenchou and 96Neko’s voices. Though I only have VipTenchou’s Dream Eating Monochrome and Scissorhands then 96Neko’s Ee? Aa Sou it’s really amazing (-^w^-)

◕ how did you get into vocaloid? Can't remember. I think someone showed me the infamous leek spinning Miku vid which actually uses a part from a Finnish song called "Ievan polkka". Laughed at it for a while and then moved on.
The first song I DO remember listening was Kaito's "Another: World is Mine" and I was like, "Oh gawd this is soooo horrible and my ears are bleeding!" But then I ended up liking some other songs and got used to vocaloid voice.
◕ how did you get into utattemita? I was looking for a translation to a vocaloid song (googled it) and one of the first pages had a link to Lon's cover someone had uploaded to YT. The moment I understood that some of those songs I liked had been sung by an actual human being(! lol) I sorta abandoned vocaloid and started looking into utaite instead. That was... (I though it had been about a year but no, it was) two years ago... figures.
