I mostly got into Vocaloid thanks to lluvia, but also due to hunting around for interesting videos on Nicovideo - it was a quick leap from the general ranking to the singing robot ranking, especially when we were busy going 'aawwww' at MMD videos. Then one day Floor started a journal for her singing robot spam and I told her to make it a community instead, and somehow I've ended up custodian of a small army of singing robot people and a complete lack of icon posts clogging up the comm.
It's really hard to keep up constant favorites when you're checking out all the new releases, but by and large I prefer Miku and Luka and right now seriously latch onto fatman, DECO*27, and daniwell.
