First loves ◕ how did you get into vocaloid? Heard about it here and there (+popipo parodies) when I was in the sims community, but only seriously explored it when a friend posted and gushed about Cendrillon video... JackxCho version (she also posted TouraixUsa version which I prefer!! I thought is original voice actor)! The illustrations were interesting... the premise was interesting... amateur producers but the songs were awesome... ◕ how did you get into utattemita? See above ^^; I like mixing songs... so it was great to listen to the various ones and try to get that sort of quality too. But then... that's... just an excuse right... of course... it was those singers' voices that made me want to listen more and more. ◕ first utaite/singer you ever encountered: ^^;; there. ◕ first producer you ever encountered: Ou... popipo's producer ne... I can't remember his name though.
Favorites ◕ favorite vocaloids/UTAUs: Meiko and her younger self, Kaito. ◕ favorite producers: uhm... easiest to remember is Tourai/minatoP, but I really like too much to list... >_< ◕ favorite solo singers/utaite: Gero, Tourai, Hanatan, hitori, Kogeinu, Jack... ◕ favorite singing units/collabs: LECO!! (Kettaro + Alilem), Fanero (I hope for more crack but....), Kogeinu x mucchi (^^;), Panyokoma, oh! Beeeeige + Kettaro + amu aaand the classic, although only one produced work - Tourai/Jack/Jigiru! ◕ favorite artists from other yattemita stuff (dancers/musicians, etc): Definitely Aikawa Kozue! And kuu!

Your information about the utaite, in particular, but I think you did a great job in providing so much information about the whole utattemita theme in general that it really makes them feel like famous artists ^^ That's what i like the most! ◕ which part do you dislike the most? Don't have. ◕ any suggestions (posts, additional things, the way things are done, etc.)? Hmm... maybe... discussion posts about their namahousou (well, can't catalogue all but whichever that anyone has managed to catch), maybe? I think if it's just summarising what happened or just discussing our favourite bits of the housou, should be fine... (f-locked) Cos I'm seldom able to catch their housou (working T_T and I'm nemurihime lol) and would love to know what happened... also would love to talk about those I have managed to catch as well, they share interesting tidbits!

Well... just like to share that, before I really knew who the utaite were, I came across this song, Anatano utahime http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JP06RF7RBdE&feature=related It was simple, but the lyrics... I love it. It got me veeeery interested in Vocaloids. Until now, I'm still keeping a copy of this song on my phone ^_^ I've not come across any utattemi covers of it, but I've not looked anyway, and even if I do, I think I won't listen to those... no one but Miku, that sort of feeling ^^;
