Hello. This is the sort-of intro post for commenters/readers of

ofurotaimu. Remember I said I welcome people to post pimp posts of their own? But I think I might've scared people off or something, idk, but it's not working LOL. So, this is like a replacement for it.

I talk a lot in the community (super lots) but I don't know much about you guys except for those times we flail around in the comments. And it's a bit lonely not knowing people, especially those who aren't registered in LJ or DW since I only know you by name (or worse, IP address, wtf). So, take this as a survey for me and other readers to know more about you and the things that make you happy :). Who knows, you might also meet people who have the same flail material as you do.

So, if you frequent this comm whether you use DW/LJ or none, please please fill this out. All fields are optional, don't answer some questions if you don't want to. I'd love to know everyone's favorites and how you got into the fandom :3. As for the favorites part, take it as your kind of "pimp post" for your favorites so feel free to include links and spazz and whatnot :D. It's your spotlight, so write whatever you want. Just remember, this is a public post which can be read by people everywhere even from Jupiter :D.

how did you get into vocaloid? Hmm.. I've already heard a number of vocaloid songs before, but I think the first one I really got hooked to was JBF because I loved the video, lol.
how did you get into utattemita? Bakemonogatari ED -> supercell -> ryo/nagi -> utattemita )(around the same time i saw JBF too)
first utaite/singer you ever encountered: does nagi still count? If not, then I think it would be yamai...
first producer you ever encountered: does ryo still count? or maybe dixie flatline. dunno which i actually encountered first...

Favorites
favorite vocaloids/UTAUs: Miku, Rin, and Gumi. For the guys, Kaito, I guess.
favorite producers: HoehoeP!! KuwagataP, NashimotoP, DECO*27, 40mP... And these are the people I haven't really tried exploring but really liked a couple of works from: doriko, JimmythumbP, kobayashi onyx, sasakureP, wowaka, FullkawaP, UtsuP
favorite solo singers/utaite: Too many, orz. I'll just pick my favorite male and female. Clear and ENE~
favorite singing units/collabs: Clewota!
favorite artists from other yattemita stuff (dancers/musicians, etc): will just pick one as well: upunushi and his pink nose lolol.

Hi hi so many delicious food in your list. I should definitely try that mochi with yogurt since you have pimped it so much XDD.

Yeah, I think nagi/Gazelle still counts since she was from that category anyway :D. Her voice reminds me of F9, so you should check her out if you still like nagi~. Ryo of course, still counts :). Dixie Flatline's songs are so catchy, aren't they? ^^;.

FullkawaP and Jimmythumb are some you should really check out. Well, for doriko, he already has very popular works (letter song, Uta ni Katachi wa nai Keredo, Romishin) so I think you'll encounter his works no matter what ^^;. NashimotoP's angry songs amuse me so much :D.

ENE! I am not really knowledgeable with her, but I have heard a couple of her songs. Time to stalk her mylist.

i'll check out F9 sometime then!! thanks! :D :D And yes, Dixie Flatline songs are so.. sticky, lol. They stick to your head and just won't come off. 'A' But it's fine since I like them~ :D

Yeah, I really wanna check out more of FullkawaP's songs... And I definitely wanna check out more of JimmythumbP's songs after hearing No Logic! And he did write Little Traveler too and i really like The Little Prince. ;w;

ENE... doesn't upload much. (Though she did sing letter song and uta ni katachi...) Well, until now.. she uploaded a couple of songs recently, yay! Someone actually asked her about this in a live, and she said, "well... it's just that there are already so many good/better people singing certain songs, so, there's no point/need for me to upload them...." or something like that... ENE-san...... you'll end up not uploading if you think like that, orz. (which she did... actually.) She sings a lot of songs live though~ and she's just as good live! lol, i'm a big fan~
I believe she's Korean... Though it seems she went to Japan last May and went karaoke-ing and other stuff with Amu. Not sure if wataame was with them, but I think she was. They (ENE and wataame) seem to be good friends, heh. After that, both her and Amu got sick. oAo; She got hospitalized for weeks and Amu did too, i think, though for a much shorter time. o.o;;; Not completely sure about her location and nationality, but i'm sure she got sick, lol.

Add JimmythumbP to my favorite producers now~~~ I listened to Toy Box linked on your Misaki post and... while I'm still about to listen to his full mylist, there is just no way I can stop loving this P after No Logic and Toy Box~ lol. Funny that both songs I really liked were by Luka though... I wonder if all his songs with more guitars are by Luka.... will go listen and find out! :3 Though I did like From Y to Y and Little Traveler as well... Only I first heard those from Clear and... well... ehehe... I just forgot about the composer..... ^^; lol.
