主コメ (nushi kome) is short for 生主のコメント (namanushi no comennto) which is the broadcaster/uploader's comments (usually the ones in the red text)

初見 or shoken (which can also be written as syokenn) means newbie and people post it on your videos when this is the first time they have viewed your works. So they're saying "This is the first time I've seen your stuff!"

up乙

I saw this on my video, but I have no idea what it means?
Something like upload??

I have a question then,
How do you get the broadcaster comments to turn red? Mine somehow just turns into a white comment like the viewers.

(Anonymous) 2012-08-20 01:12 am (UTC)(link)
I switched to the new Nico Zero and I'm confused as to how the broadcast comments go...
Is it where I have to click the comments box: then click the second one down? The ローカルコメント?

Nico people sure are friendly to say something like that.
Makes me go all happy!

Not sure... It's possible that the viewers see it as red, but not you. I recommend using Niconama Comment Viewer instead

Anyone know what "ifdla" means? It was randomly commented on a vid I uploaded for someone. (It could just be random button mashing though.)

Hi! Sorry for not logging in, it's forbidden at work ^^;

Anyway, I don't know of any meaning for it, sorry. Maybe it IS just random keysmash. Must be a pretty epic vid XD.

Apologies for not being able to help :(

As far as I know... I don't think so :( I tried looking around, but didn't see anything.

Thanks so much for this list, it's super helpful!

Would you happen to know what ひっく means? I keep on seeing it on videos here and there but I can't seem to find a linking context for it...

I'm not really sure, if you can, can you provide some examples of some songs with the comment? A friend of mine suggest it might be the "hiccup-like" sounds someone makes after crying a lot.

TDN

(Anonymous) 2012-09-19 04:13 am (UTC)(link)
Does "TDN" mean/stand for anything in particular?

(Anonymous) 2012-09-21 09:24 pm (UTC)(link)
Like at the beginning of sm18927893 and sm18916818, and a minute into sm15691840... Does it have to do with lowering the key or singing lower? (Or am I missing something obvious? ^^; )

isn't it just a section you can/are supposed to enter when you first sign up for the account? for me at least, IDK if it's possible to go back and change/edit anything.

Go to the top menu > Settings > Change profile > type in new nickname

Unless you're talking about broadcast. In that case, type @yournickname during a broadcast
