Utaite Spotlight: Anima
I haven't written anything in a looooong time... m(_ _)m So I hope this is ok... /fidgets

Anima is one of the better known utaites in NND. He's also known for the Another series, where he takes Vocaloid songs and writes his own lyrics for it. He started uploading songs in 2007, but went on a hiatus for a while due to some issues. Because of that, he took down some of his earlier covers. :( He came back in (late) 2008, though, and has been active ever since. :)
As far as his singing is concerned, he has a good midrange voice, though he has a hard time reaching high notes sometimes. ^^;; Happy, quirky songs (Hello Planet, anyone?) seem right up his alley. He has a slightly distinctive voice, probably because of his Kansai accent (then again, it could just be me... ^^;;). He also does collabs, mostly with Korosuke.
He lives in Osaka and is still studying. His favorite food is tako (octopus) and he likes anime/manga and gaming (his favorite is the Tales of series). ^^ He also likes to play around with his voice using a synthesizer (I guess), as he sometimes does in his lives.

Boku Mitai na Kimi Mitai na Boku (DECO*27) - collab with Korosuke
My, umm, fascination (LOL!) with Anima started when I was looking for covers of Hajimete no Koi ga Owaru Toki. When I heard his version, I thought the lyrics sounded different, and they were. I started Google-ing him and everything just snowballed from there. ^^;; I'm amused at the fact that he can be like a "big kid", what with his love of games and manga. He also names his stuff (like his desktop = ASP, camera = Rumi, and phone = Fono). ^^ If you've seen his older lives, he features fanarts of his "family" (the stuff he's named). He accepts illustrations/fanarts and sometimes he uses them as backgrounds for his covers (like Scene and Saihate from Anima week... ^^v).
I have a lot of favorites from his covers (which made it very difficult for me to choose the ones to sample. LOL!). Happy listening~ <33
