Utaite Spotlight: RIO
It's me again! I know it's not Friday yet, but I might not get to post this tomorrow, so... ^^;; Oh, and I apologize for the shortness of this post... Hehehe... m(_ _)m

RIO is one of the lesser known female utaites in NND. She started uploading songs in 2008. She has a pretty high range, being able to reach high notes fairly well. And while her solos are notable, I find that her collabs are a very good listen. ^^ Her voice blends well with the people she works with like Shouta and Hikage.

I first heard RIO in her Kamihikouki collab with Anima (surprise surprise! LOLOL! ^^), but it was only fairly recently that I got to listen to her other covers. I like the feel that her voice gives, that even if she sings the high notes, it doesn't sound shrilly. I love her collabs with Hikage (even though I'm having a hard time distinguishing their voices). Outside of NND though, I know absolutely nothing about her. :( I couldn't find her blog (if she has one) and I don't think she has a Nico community. Mystalking skills totally failed me. OTL LOL! My favorite song from her would still have to be Asayake, Kimi no Uta, even if Shouta is heard more than she does. ^^;; Happy listening~ <33
