By "related", we meant that it has utattemita/Vocaloid personalities in it rather than that it has Vocaloid songs. This was posted BEFORE the event ages ago, so that time it's normal that we weren't so sure on what they're going to do in this event. Yes, odorite (nico dancers) recently became obsessed with dance-covers of Vocaloid songs, but Vocaloid songs are not the ONLY thing they dance with, hence the intro. If we put this kind of belief into what we write, then everything in Nico Nico Douga is Vocaloid-related since they all include Vocaloid songs (ensoushitemita, MADs, etc. included) :).
I might as well add that when this was posted (2010), Ofurotaimu was mainly an utattemita / Vocaloid community, Vocaloid meaning the composers/Vocaloid program. Very few members of the comm knew about odorites then and therefore, we referred to odottemita as an different, isolated category, just like ensoushitemita.
