Weekly Utattemita Ranking #112 (December 20-27, 2010)

This is the ranking for Christmas week, which means there are tons of Christmas-related songs and parodies. Surprisingly, the top ones are very predictable since they haven't been toppled since last week, just rearranged a lot. Still, there are many interesting uploads this week, a rather big influx of parodies, and returners you wouldn't expect at all.

• One of my favorites for this week, this is a piano arrange of the song. Shakaijin's rough voice sounds really, really good in ballads and this is really beautiful. However...it is not the full version :(.

• It's rare to hear Kouhei singing a ballad, even if it's a buzzG rock ballad XD. He has toned down his screamo voice a bit so the song sounds like a B'z ballad XD.

• Title translates to "Your Hand, My Hand". A surprisingly good cover with just the right pitch and force on Inakamono's voice to keep the piano ballad gentle and dramatic.

• This is a parody of EAS with revised lyrics to fit a Togainu no Chi theme XD;. Well, until you know the lyrics you won't get the joke, but this is mostly about Keisuke and Akira.

• This is an upload to celebrate Makoto's 21st birthday and at the same time, commemorate 1 year of her previous (deleted) Renai Circulation upload. However, Makoto is not an utaite, she's actually from the odottemita category XD. The utattemita part of this video is Korosuke, who sung the cover. [TEST] also played the guitars for this song.

What makes it interesting is that there are also guys in this song, even if the original only has females singing it. The art is wonderful and the serifu are great XD.
