This week, with most of the Tarou covers gone, is the revenge of the old songs XD;. Remember those songs wiped off from the rankings a week ago? Well, they're back. There is quite a large variety of songs this week, but the top 3...are actually covers of just 1 song, just in different arrangements.

• Guriri's thick voice sounds best in semi-rock, alternative songs like this. She sounds really effortless here! This seems to be a popular song to cover, though. Wotamin also has a cover of this song way back...when she was new ^^;

• Title translates to "Ten Faces". OMG Iciko's really high voice. Surprisingly, her high voice is pleasant to listen to. Like...a hypnotic effect XD I guess it's because of the type of song.

• Hanycham has a deep voice like Yamai's but she gave this jazzy song a really different twist that's pleasant to the ears. Somehow it became more RnB-ish XD;. I'm reminded of Aoyama Thelma....

• I like some of POPPY's songs, but I think this song is not for her ^^;. She's too...um gentle? autotuned? I'm not sure. She did sing it well, but I think she missed some of the crucial beats/rhythms. I like her more when she sings pop-ish songs.

o7. 『きみをわすれない』歌ってみた：薬人

• Title translates to "I Cannot Forget You". This is a really old song (way back in 2007!) so I'm pleasantly surprised to see this. The singer isn't bad, too!

• This is Koman's cover of a Jimmythumb classic where he played the piano while singing (like that Otouto no Ane video). Really nice!

o9. 心配停止機能　歌ってみた－遊

• Title translates to "Anxiety Interruption Room". One thing I like about Yuu is that he covers unknown songs and makes you interested to listen to how the original sounds like. This song is unknown to me, but I loved the creepy piano intro and the electro beats all throughout the song. Yuu's voice, of course, made the song creepier ^^;

• Original song is from FullkawaP's CD.
• I like Erusi's rockish covers but a ballad from her is also nice from time to time. This one is well-done because Erusi's rough voice did not drown the guitars and vice versa.

12. 【海苔海苔で】追想のディスペア【歌ってみた】

• This is a cover of the theme from Higurashi no Naku Koro ni
• Noriko is one of the "classic" singers of NND and I'm glad she's singing again! She totally sounds anime-ish...like Angela, etc. Whenever I see Noriko's name I remember Clear and Wotamin because they used to flail about her ^^;.

13. 【バル】「ドミノ倒シ」を歌ってみた。

• I haven't heard from Baru in a long time in the rankings and I'm glad her clear singing is heard again! So many people have covered this song and Baru is a little less stellar than some of them, but I can't deny that this is one of the better female covers I've heard.

• Somehow, this cover reminds me so much of Asamaru's, just deeper and livelier. I'm amused at his adlibs.

• This is one of my favorite Alilem covers now. Not only is the rap cool, the art is cool, too. I like the middle part where he just shoots off speedy lyrics. So awesome.

• Oh my. I didn't expect this to be this high but I'm happy that it is! This is probably one of Bis's best cover yet. Still can't shake off that he sounds similar to Yuu, just with a deeper, more rockish and less spooky voice.
