ATTENTION: Apparently, the MAJI LOVE COVER phase is 1000% STILL NOT OVER. So we're getting them by the bulk this week, some of them cracky, some of the....wait. ALL OF THEM CRACKY. Which is probably the reason why I'm writing in caps today. Apparently, the large amount of Maji Love I watched today has affected my cracky mentality! /shot

Seriously, though, there are only a few remaining from the previous week and there are a lot of wonderful songs this week. Of course, there's still the Shiryokukensa madness (a few), and lots and lots of collabs, which means you'll be seeing new names today :). Anyway, I'll stop rattling like a parrot and get on with the ranking.

This week is awesome because there are many, many wonderful covers from people we all know and love. The new number one caused a lot of songs from the same singer to return to the ranking. Some of the songs I expected to stay dropped out while some I didn't expect to excel rose far above others. I'm pleasantly surprised with some, so let's get started with this week.

Weekly Utattemita Ranking #109 (November 29 to December 06, 2010)

This is late (and the rest might be late, too) because of certain difficulties as I have no Internet at home and my work has blocked Nico Nico Douga. I apologize for delays in the future, too, if this kind of fail happens for a long time OTL.

Anyway, a big thanks to stephieku and the person who uploads the weekly utaran himself (who is so kind, I don't even...), I managed to get the ranking list and just...listened to them one by one instead of the ranking itself. I might miss some comments re: some of the songs, so sorry ;;. Anyway, on to the ranking, which is pretty predictable given the songs released this week :). There are tons of new songs, there wasn't much space for the oldies to cling on :(.

PS: The Vocaloid links in the blurbs inevitably lead to nicosound because it's what I used to listen to the songs ^^;. I'll try changing them but for now, please tolerate them Y_Y; Hopefully fixed the links back to Nicovideo.

This week's ranking has a lot of familiar names so it's pretty comfy and nostalgic XD. Not a lot of returnees aside from the usual regulars, although there are a couple of surprising rises. The Heart Sutra craze has died down but there are still remnants of Nirvana in the ranking. Aside from that, the Matryoshka/Calc. matsuri aren't showing any signs of lying low XD.

• This is one of my favorite Polyphonic Branch songs and Montea and Hanatan sang this very well and their blending is something to admire. However, I kind of find this cover too gentle and still prefer the more powerful one by Choucho and Keisen ^^;.
