As with last year, here is the huge annual utattemita ranking for 2011. As all of these songs have been featured in the Weekly Utaran (multiple times even!), I won't be including small details. I'll just be including the Romanized title, the singer, and the original composer. As my Internet is acting up as usual, I wasn't able to include links to the mylists and all that but I hope you understand :).

The Annual Utattemita Ranking is made up of several parts, all of them will be listed here in reverse order unlike my usual style. Let's look at them one by one :).

The main part of this special is the Utattemita Ranking 2011. This is a ranked list of the best 100 songs uploaded from 12-25-2010 to 12-25-2011 which had gained a lot of views, mylists and comments. Here is the list from 100 to 001.

UTATTEMITA PRE-2011 UPLOADS BEST 100

You can refer to this ranking like the "overall weekly ranking" in weekly utaran minus the new videos. These are songs not uploaded in 2011 but have gained tons views, comments and mylists from 12-25-2010 to 12-25-2011. As expected, some of them are also the highest viewed, commented and mylisted videos of all time in this category. This list is also in reverse, from 100 to 001.

Aaand there you have them. I apologize for being a day late. And because I'm late and it's a Monday (which is Utaran day), I'll have to move the first ever Weekly Utaran writeup for 2012 tomorrow. So sorry! But I'm sure you've enjoyed this one btw. This can also be a good guide for you to backtrack the popular songs last year, discover new songs and new singers.

Currently, we have a typhoon here in the Philippines, so we're experiencing power failures and intermittent Internet connection. Since I want to post this as fast as I can before we lose power here, I'm leaving out descriptions again. However, I think this ranking doesn't need a lot of comments since we have a lot of popular people which do not need introduction XD.

One thing about this ranking is we have a ton of Senbonzakura (KurousaP) covers, so if you love that song like I do, enjoy!

You might remember that I did a sort of intro post (plus a previous ranking writeup) for Nico Nico Indies Ranking. This is the ranking for this month. As I said, NNI is much more slow-moving compared to utattemita and Vocaloid, so you might still encounter songs here which appeared in the previous ranking. What to expect in this ranking: Tons of Maji Love 1000% in all forms (parody, normal, zenbu-ore, ballad, etc.). A lot of Dakishimeta Tonight covers (yay!), A couple of Clear (yaaay!!) and some utaite we haven't heard from in a long time uploading awesome covers.

Today's week is interesting for two reasons: 1) there's a new CM meme people will cover over the next days; 2) There is quite a large number of covers of non-Vocaloid songs.

The CM I'm talking about is this one. If I'm not mistaken, this is an ad for a deodorant and the singing boy does not seem to have any connection to the product aside from the fact that he is cute. Of course, when covers come up, crack ensues. You do the discovering XD.

As mentioned in the past post, the utaran is now color-coded according to the colors in the Utaran video.
