Weekly Vocaloid Ranking # 189 (May 5-16, 2011)
This week has a lot of new songs (and a lot of returners!) and is interesting because there are actually many producers in the ranking which you probably haven't seen before XD;. This ranking is worth your listen, I guarantee it, so let's get to it!
As always, thank you so much to Iori-san for adopting the ranking and taking the time to upload! Let's also hope that sippotan and his house/family are safe and are near recovery! That said, let's go on with the ranking.

01. Karakuta Hime to Apostrophe (Hatsune Miku) - Sasakure.UK
- Title means "Junk Princess and Apostroph". As expected of Sasakure, the song is fast, chiptune-ish with very cute beats meant to go around your head for a while. The PV is also awesome.
02. Bonus Stage (Kagamine Rin and Len) - OwataP

03. Zaregoto Speaker (Hatsune Miku) - nekobolo
- ↑13 Title means "Silly Speaker". Still so pretty! If you're interestedthe_desserter once wrote a producer spotlight on Nekobolo. He has really good songs, so please do check him out!
04. Abstract Nonsense (Kagamine Rin) - Neru
- ↑08
05. Tsunawatari (Megurine Luka) - otetsu
- Title translates to "tightrope walking". I haven't even gotten "Black Gold" out of my head and otetsu's here again with another powerful Luka song. I dig the guitars so much. Sobs omg the head.
06. Heartful Sequence (Megurine Luka x GUMI) - Easypop
- Easypop's new song is reminiscent of Happy Synthesizer (somewhere lower in the rankings), but it's less catchy than the previous imo ;;.
07. Unhappy Refrain (Hatsune Miku) - wowaka
- ↓01
08. Love Trigger (GUMI) - papiyon
- This sounds so much like Specification and papiyon's other works, but the piano music is still to die for.
09. Euthanasia (Hatsune Miku) - samfree
- ↓04
10. Chrono Story (Megurine Luka, Kagamine Rin and Len) - mothy/AkunoP
- As expected of mothy, this is another mysterious story-based song around the Kagamine twins. Not very fond othe music, but I'm curious about the story.
11. Naraku to Uta (Hatsune Miku) - Uz
- I'm loving uZP's monthly uploads XD. I like this one more than last month's GUMI though, with hauntingly high and whispery Miku against strong guitars.
12. Seimei Ittemiro! (Hatsune Miku) - maretu
- IDK YOU MARETU GUY. WHY DO YOU AMUSE ME SO FFFF.Since he's having so much fun with names, why not include EVERYONE's names, right? So, here you have it. 666 family names XD.
13. behind me (GUMI) - ORYO
- ORYO's drums are always so badass. This one is a less powerful compared to ORYO's previous but the instrumentation is great.
14. Hatsune Miku no Shoushitsu - Long version - (Hatsune Miku) - cosMo

15. LANA (GUMI) - Emon(Tes.)
- ↑16
16. Douten Triangle (Hatsune Miku) - NekomushiP
- Title means "Moving Point Triangle". Nekomushi's songs are getting better and better. This one starts off as a ballad with a fantastic orchestra intro. However, it slowly evolves into a rock ballad laced with guitars, piano music and his signature Miku tuning.
17. Kimi to Sekai (Hatsune Miku) - Paolino
- Title means "Me and the World". What a wonderful ballad! It's reaaaallly slow and might make you sleepy with Miku almost whispering, but it's a good thing.
18. Rokkan Musume to Shohan Saikensaku (Hatsune Miku) - hanzo
- I am quite at a loss with the title and that ton kanji but the title must mean "Six-Sensed Daughter and Various Reconstruction Policies". I also do not understand the song quite well, but it's a nice listen.
19. Matryoshka (Hatsune Miku x GUMI) - hachi

20. Synapse (Megurine Luka) - Yashikin
- Someone I haven't really seen around but he has this impressive song! Luka's tuning is so-so, but the song is catchy and well done.
21. fairy falling (Kagamine Rin Sweet) - Karasuyasabou
- Ah, I love the sharp guitar work here so much. Rin's tuning is also wonderful. Probably my favorite Karasuya song!
22. Planeter (Megurine Luka x GUMI) - Ichigo Milk wo Bukkaketara Korosu
- Uh the producer's name means "If you spill the strawberry milk I'll kill you". It's pretty good and meets the theme well. It tends to be repetitive but nice nevertheless.
23. Panda Hero (GUMI) - Hachi

24. Handwritten Map (VY1) - KEI
- It's been a while since I've seen a VY1 in the ranking! KEI does his usual magic of mixing rockish tunes with poignant lyrics.
25. World's End Dancehall (Megurine Luka x Hatsune Miku) - wowaka

26. Ura Omote Lovers -Reverse Edge Mix- (Hatsune Miku) - Captain Mirai
- This is just a remix of the wowaka original. It's also part of wowaka's upcoming album.
