community Nekomushi started uploading his Vocaloid compositions in 2008 and since then has been active in uploading. His most popular song is probably
Wan Wan-O, Nyan Nyan-O which has over 180,000 views.
Nekomushi's compositions are mostly ballads or light pop songs with cheerful melodies. However, these melodies are often coupled with poignant or downright vindictive lyrics, like with
Kurikaeshi no Hitotsubu. His music mainly has a piano or guitar base. However, he uses a lot of instrument sounds, too, from drums to violins to a whole orchestra to electronic beats a la DECO*27. His varied music styles, however, do not deviate from the pop-ish, bright aura his music is known for. He is very fond of making "____ no Uta" songs, which involves different objects and themes related to every day life.
Nekomushi solely uses Hatsune Miku for his works, and it is interesting that once you hear his Miku, you will definitely recognize any of his works just by the quality of her voice. She is tuned with a distinguishable style, with a permanent curve on her voice that makes her sound like she's about to squeak/falter at the ends of the phrases, but not really. It's a bit hard to describe, but these voice curls are definitely unique to Nekomushi's works. These curves are most noticeable in Nekomushi's earlier releases.
Aside from composing, Nekomushi is also (albeit lesser) known for doing covers. He has actually started singing other producer's works in 2008, too and has tons of covers XD. He also does music arrangement and guitar playing for
EngawaP's works.

nikki saysI first heard of NekomushiP when he released "Wanwan-O, Nyannyan-O" which, while really adorable, talks about overworking XD;. I find the way he tunes Miku and how it persists in all of his songs very interesting and his songs are always gently upbeat that despite the fact that some of them have really sad lyrics, they're all a pleasure to listen to. He's one of the Ps whose style hasn't changed over the years aside from having improvement in terms of instrument use. His latest two albums (found in
toranoana) are really worth the listen (too bad I can't find where to buy the first album!) especially "Nekomushi no Ashiato" which has most of his latest songs. And of course, his singing voice is really nice! I just can't connect his avatar to his voice, but that's okay XDD. I also learned a lot of him from twitter, like #onaka_is_very_suita and this kaomoji: ヾ川^ω^川ノシ
