Since this month is Ofurotaimu's anniversary month (kinda), I decided to do something different for the producers' spotlight. We're having two spotlights per week. The producers I'm going to write about might be well known, might be not-so-popular, but they have common denominators: their names are either of shapes or numbers.

blog150P (read as one-halfP) is a Vocaloid producer mostly known for his Kagamine works. Aside from his Vocaloid works, he also participates in Touhou projects, hence you might sometimes see "Touhou Vocaloid" appended with his works in Nico Nico Douga. He was first known in the community his work "Jigen Campanella" entered the Vocaloid ranking as a pickup ED. Since then he's experienced varied reception of his works, some of them are pretty much considered hits while some are satisfactory.
150P has no distinct style in his songs aside from his wonderful intros. His intros are often very classy or attention-grabbing, making his works memorable and at times, catchy. Usually, he starts off with a fast-paced piano or piano-like music, or a loud electronic rhythm like some of AVTechNO!'s works. Managing to make beautiful piano-laced alternative rock songs in one hand and then compose a electronic dance track in the other obviously shows 150P's flexibility in composing music.
150P has a tuning bias towards Kagamine Rin, although he also uses Miku and Len sparingly. His Rin is tuned solid but sweet and can get high but mostly remains level-toned so as not to make her sound strained or rough. His Len, on the other hand is sharp and a bit edgy, probably because he's often made to sing fast lyrics. His Miku is gentle and soft, almost blending in with his melodies.
Even though he started uploading songs in Nico Nico Douga since 2009, he doesn't have much in his mylist. However, he has released a couple of albums already (Angelist and Debut!) and has participated in various albums, the most recent of which was Kagamination.

nikki saysTo be honest, I don't know that much about 150P even if I coincidentally listen to most of his works. I knew him first from Sweet Revenge, which had been a favorite of mine since I heard it (and I'm very choosy with Rin songs). While there is nothing interesting with the way he tunes his Vocaloids, I love listening to his intros because not one song is the same. It's always different and you can expect being surprised every time you listen to his works. My favorite at the moment, aside from Sweet Revenge is probably Gin no Shoujo. I listened to it a lot while I discovered it in the rankings.
