Weekly Vocaloid Ranking #164 (November 15-22, 2010)
This week has a lot of movement, especially with old hits. Missing some hits that disappeared from the ranking? Fear no more! Wanting some recent hits to go up again even if their meme factor is kind of dying? Don't worry. Yup, that's how much movement we have today XD. Very few new songs and it's a bit disappointing, but they are all awesome, so please check them out!

01. Catfood (Hatsune Miku) - doriko
- Warning: Doriko is my most favorite producer of all time. Okay. OF COURSE. OF COURSE. After not updating for a long time, this is meant to be here. The song is less catchy and adorable as his previous hits and will probably not be at par with Romishin, but it's catchy, moe, upbeat and has tsun lyrics. Who would not love it?? This is me trying to be objective despite the bias, cut me some slack!! XDD
02. HAKUMEI (VY1) - Onigashima
- ↑04 I think this really deserves to be here, it's a beautiful song. Techno pop + traditional Japanese music + wonderful VY1 tuning. If you haven't given it a listen, please do!
03. ±(Plus Minus) (Hatsune Miku) - AVTechNo!
- I guess by now, you already know I'm biased towards Abe-san and his works. This one is unlike his usual fast, confusing techno beats. This one is actually a rock ballad, a lovely one at that. Miku lacks some power against the guitars, especially during the chorus when she gets insanely high-pitched and a bit "meh", but otherwise, the song is good. I prefer Abe-san's usual techno, though!
04. Magical Rin ☆☆☆LOVE♡ (Kagamine Rin) - UgoP
- Damn catchy! Reminds me of LiveP's magical Rin songs, with a dash of wowaka catchy phrasing.
05. Himitsu Keisatsu (Hatsune Miku) - BuriruP
- ↓02 I love the little breaths at the end of the lines XD.
06. ONE's hope (Hatsune Miku) - Con
- A simple, usual Miku ballad, with Miku's voice nearly disappearing under the guitars as effect (it was pretty nice!). Not something that caught my ears this week, but pretty nonetheless.
07. Mr. Alice (Hatsune Miku) - Okka
- ↓03 ...This is a very addicting song. I love it so much ;;.
08. Ur-Style -arbitrary style- (Kagamine Rin) - DATEKEN
- I don't know what kind of style that is, but it's a nice re-styling of one of DATEKEN's more popular works. I still prefer the original, but this is not bad.
09. Matryoshka (GUMI x Hatsune Miku) - hachi
- ↑11 What the....AGAIN!
10. Tsurareta Otoko to Yume (Kagamine Rin/Len) - MyGodP
- MyGodP never fails to wake me up with his rockish beats, albeit with kind of morbid/heavy lyrics, and awesome PVs. Of course the tuning needs some more work but the MyGodP's music itself is really magnetic despite that.
11. Erikubi (Hatsune Miku) - MachigeritaP
- Machige's usual haunting melody, but with less creepy and heavy beats. Again, he managed to scare me with his video. Seriously ;;.

- I like the intro so much! Rin's voice not so much, but she complements the music so well, her slight whiny notes can be ignored. The movie is very nice!

- The beat is catchy, but Rin is really, wildly high-pitched all throughout the song ^^;.
