Tsunamaru (or Tunamaru) started upping his Vocaloid works in Nico Nico Douga sometime in 2009, but he releases songs slowly, so he only has around 5 up to this time. His producer name is MezameP/めざめＰ. You might know him from his recent hit Usotsuki.
Tsunamaru's songs are known to be rich in piano and light pop melodies that leave a soft, fluffy feeling in the ears. His songs range from fast, sweet pop to rich ballads, yet all of them have the same warm glow in them. His bass, drums and other heavy beats are often muffled under interesting piano playing in order to soften them, too. He also uses violin music sometimes.
He has used Hatsune Miku (and Hatsune Miku Sweet) as well as GUMI in his works. Both of them are tuned softly with hardly any sharpness in their voices. Often they are low-pitched and almost whispery, emphasizing the gentle aura of his songs. This is why despite the sad or conflicted themes in his songs, they always appear a bit cheerful if not cute.

I first got acquainted with Tsunamaru when I heard his beautiful song "Mocha". When I checked out his previous songs and followed the next ones, I found that I like how he tuned his vocaloids as well as how there always seems to be a soft glow in his songs. They're pretty to and, while sad most of the time, are easy to listen to. I can't really choose a favorite among his works, but I wish he'd make more songs along the vein of Mocha and Namekuji.

The only song I've heard from him was Mocha, I also agree about the softness in his tuning >w< it's so cute and soothing! His songs remind of like musicboxes and some like video game music? It sounds familliar, I can't really place my finger on it. But they all sound nice!
