Weekly Utattemita Ranking # 172 (February 13-20, 2012)
This week's ranking mostly has new releases so make sure you check them all out! There are actually quite a few bandwagoning this week, aside from the Mokyu Moyku Matsuri, which you will encounted in a bit. Most of the people in this ranking are seasoned, popular, ones so enjoy, but I hope you'll also find the time to check out the less popular ones!

• overall rank: 61. Panyo's cover is not as high tension or powerful as some of the earlier covers but I like this because it has a sassy feel to it, as if Panyo keeps it cool despite the strong theme of the song. The autotune just throws me off a bit.

• overall rank: 65. Guriri gives the IA eurobeat song the power it needs, although her pinched voice at some parts is a bit hard to get used to. In general, it's a powerful, impressive cover.

• 96neko takes a step back from torturing Len to release wonderful, serious covers one after the other. This is rendered beautifully, with her perfectly capturing the phrasing and even the fast, high parts. The phrasing here is more difficult than the original Miku one, if I must say, so the fact that Nacchan pulled it off amazes me. It's not as dramatic as I expected but she is as versatile with her voice as I expected.

• Kano perfectly sings PolyphonicBranch's super fast, confusing song with a slightly autotuned but surprisingly strong voice. I think this is actually the first time I've heard Kano exert so much power in a cover and I think it's awesome.

• This is probably the time when I don't say much about how adorable Amatsuki is. His boyish voice is still apparent throughout the song, but the steel solidity of his singing is really great. It sounds a bit...too echoey at times but it is not much of a bother.

• I love the original Miku version but this is also wonderful. I always hear Yuuto in rockish/loud covers so it's a nice change to hear him sing, in an emotional but steadfast voice, in a ballad.
