I'm on time this week~! Unfortunately for us, we have a ton of old stuff in this ranking (with returning songs even!) that I didn't have much to say LOL. However, don't be disheartened because our top 3 are all wonderful new songs and scattered in the ranking are a number of impressive tracks from seasoned Ps. So please don't be discouraged and check out what this week has in store for you :).

01. 【初音ミク】二次元ドリームフィーバー【オリジナル】
• Nijigen Dream Fever [Hatsune Miku]

• Title means "2D Dream Fever". I rarely hear this type of music with PolyphonicBranch but that doesn't mean it's not impressive. This is a fast-paced electrorock song with Miku singing in a fast but not robotic way. Quite very wowaka/tohma-ish but slowly, it evolves into a waltz-like rhythm with Miku softening into the song, then very fast it goes back to being all electronic with sharp guitars. It's an interesting listen especially if you've only listened to Polyphonic's fantasy rock. This is a good change of pace.

02. 【GUMI】 投資家レコーズ 【オリジナル曲】

• Title means "Investor Records". This is a rock song with a realllllllllyyy wonderful sound work going on especially if you listen with headphones. On your right, you can hear the plucky guitar-playing and on your left, you can hear that amazing bass NishizawasanP has in all of his songs. So much enjoyment right here. GUMI sounds a bit messy at the high parts but the melody camouflages it quite well.

• Title means "Shape of a Dream". FuwariP decided to go all out and tune all the Vocaloids for this lovely piece. As per usual with Fuwari's music, this is a gorgeous, calming piano melody decorated with chimes. Surprisingly, Fuwari's Vocaloids all sound quite good, with barely any shaking or stray notes. His GUMI is especially pretty!

• Title means "Regular Patissier". Halyosy's upload since...well, a long time ago! I actually didn't find it as endearing or catchy as his previous works, but I've missed this type of music: elaborate melody with orchestraic effects, complete with clapping accompaniment! And of course, Len. It's been a while since we had a serious Len here in the top :D.

07. 【初音ミク】18オクターブ半だせないと歌い手にはなれません
• 18-Octave-han dasenai to Utaite ni wa Naremasen [Hatsune Miku]

• Title means "If you can't sing out 18 octaves, you can't be an utaite". This is a very simple, repetitive song with only piano accompaniment. I think it's noticed more because of the message of the song XD;.

08. 【GUMI】　何時何分何秒地球が何回回ったころ？　【オリジナル】
• Nanji Nanpun Nanbyou Chikyuu ga Nankai Mawattarou [GUMI]

• Title means "How many times does the Earth revolve in how many hours, how many minutes, how many seconds?". I am...not sure if I translated that correctly. This is uzP's first entry here in the ranking, and as always, it's a lovely rock ballad with ringing guitars and slightly softened drums. What I like about this is that the guitar-playing is not one mass of combined sound, but rather you can clearly hear the guitars playing at different pitches/rhythm, interwoven with each other. It's good music for your ears.

• I had a hard time distinguishing GUMI and Miku here because GUMI sounds higher than usual. Despite that, the melody is a nice mix of echoey guitars and wonderful piano melody. I like how you can hear the sharpness of the guitars at pitch changes just behind the clear piano. It's a rock song but it's pretty good on the ears. GUMI and Miku aren't drowned out but they're also not too loud compared to the music. It's beautifully mixed.

• uzP's second in the ranking is a grandly elaborate rock song completed with a tinkling piano melody against rich guitar work. IA sounds a bit flat in this, as I expected with IA works, but the melody gives her a push to sound echoey and nice.

• Don's new track is a lot fiercer than his previous "flowery fairy" and abuses a lot of awesomely sharp guitars and bouncy, whipping drums. The guitar-playing is indiscernible, as if it's one big jumbled melody, but the drumming is very distinct despite being impressively speedy. Miku might sound a bit monotonous at the start because she sounds lower here than in most of Don's works but she also picks up pace later in the song.

I wrote up a longer comment, but my computer shut down unexpectedly Dx

I like that Polyphonic Branch is doing something different with Nijigen Dream Fever, but it hasn't really stuck in my head like other PB songs. I'm glad PB's changing up the arrangements, because recently a lot of the songs have been sounding a bit same-y arrangement-wise (maybe with the exception of his Gothika album), but I hope he does more songs like this!

Toushika Records has a nice funky beat *_* I'm loving the guitar especially!

Yume no Katachi is <3<3. The song and PV are so cute and fluffy <3 I'm amazed that despite FuwariP using only Miku in his past songs, he was able to tune the rest of the Vocaloids well and in his characteristic style :3 It's at times a bit too similar to Koko ni Aru Koto, but I love that song too, so it's fine /o/

I'm liking uzP's Nanji Nanpun Nan(ry! It feels nice and clean, and it's soothing to the ear after the more noisier rock songs of late.

and.. that's all Nico will let me watch :( stupid slowness
