Introduce Yourself Post.
Hello. This is the sort-of intro post for commenters/readers of ofurotaimu. Remember I said I welcome people to post pimp posts of their own? But I think I might've scared people off or something, idk, but it's not working LOL. So, this is like a replacement for it.
I talk a lot in the community (super lots) but I don't know much about you guys except for those times we flail around in the comments. And it's a bit lonely not knowing people, especially those who aren't registered in LJ or DW since I only know you by name (or worse, IP address, wtf). So, take this as a survey for me and other readers to know more about you and the things that make you happy :). Who knows, you might also meet people who have the same flail material as you do.
So, if you frequent this comm whether you use DW/LJ or none, please please fill this out. All fields are optional, don't answer some questions if you don't want to. I'd love to know everyone's favorites and how you got into the fandom :3. As for the favorites part, take it as your kind of "pimp post" for your favorites so feel free to include links and spazz and whatnot :D. It's your spotlight, so write whatever you want. Just remember, this is a public post which can be read by people everywhere even from Jupiter :D.

◕ how did you get into vocaloid? I happen to read one of my friend entries about vocaloids, and then some of her friends commented with KaiMei's Tsugai Kogarashi vid. Curiosity had gotten me, and tadaaaa~
◕ how did you get into utattemita? Basically because another friend too. She wrote about how the human covers of the vocaloid songs are amazing, and I was like, WHA THERE'S HUMAN COVERS? And rapidly ggrks it :DDD
◕ first utaite/singer you ever encountered: Choucho. Eh, actually the first time was when I heard an utattemita of FireFlower in this Gintama AMV , but s/he didn't list who the singer is, and I've still haven't found out who's the singer is...

◕ favorite vocaloids/UTAUs: MEIKO and KAITO
◕ favorite producers: ShigotoshiteP, kz, shu-t, dateken
◕ favorite solo singers/utaite: Tourai <3, Valshe, clear, Choucho, Jack, Yamai
◕ favorite singing units/collabs: UsaTolie, Chouchou and Jack (is this a unit? I have no idea, but I like their duets...)

Tsugai Kogarashi is a beautiful song and wow! Your first exposure was with the first Vocaloids too XD. Mmm...The singer in the Gintama AMV is named "Suna" but other than that I don't know anything ^^;.
It's rare for people to like MEIKO, but she has wonderful songs (she's Wotamin's favorite, too ;;). I like KonkiP's MEIKO (and Kaito duets!) the most~. shu-t is also nice.
Choucho and Jack is a unit. There is a name for them but I forgot ;;. I like their duets, too and I think they should sing more. As with the Valshe spotlight, she's already popular, but I'll see what I can do :D.

Yeah, not much people like MEIKO, but I guess it's because her voice type maybe? And MEIKO is pretty much hit or miss - whether she sounds really good when tuned right, or sounds downright robotic...but I like her voice and duets with Kaito~~ Ah, KonkiP? I haven't heard his/her works, but I'll check it out!
I really love Choucho and Jack duets, especially Cendrillion :D Choucho's voice matches with Jack's high voice~~
