Hello. This is the sort-of intro post for commenters/readers of

ofurotaimu. Remember I said I welcome people to post pimp posts of their own? But I think I might've scared people off or something, idk, but it's not working LOL. So, this is like a replacement for it.

I talk a lot in the community (super lots) but I don't know much about you guys except for those times we flail around in the comments. And it's a bit lonely not knowing people, especially those who aren't registered in LJ or DW since I only know you by name (or worse, IP address, wtf). So, take this as a survey for me and other readers to know more about you and the things that make you happy :). Who knows, you might also meet people who have the same flail material as you do.

So, if you frequent this comm whether you use DW/LJ or none, please please fill this out. All fields are optional, don't answer some questions if you don't want to. I'd love to know everyone's favorites and how you got into the fandom :3. As for the favorites part, take it as your kind of "pimp post" for your favorites so feel free to include links and spazz and whatnot :D. It's your spotlight, so write whatever you want. Just remember, this is a public post which can be read by people everywhere even from Jupiter :D.

how did you get into vocaloid?
I saw a lot of amazing fanarts around and heard quite some of vocaloid songs being used for MADs (especially Miku's ever famous World is Mine), so I got curious. I was amazed when I listened to their songs, the producers are so talented and there are so much effort put into their collaborations (video, character design, etc). <333
how did you get into utattemita?
some of the MADs I watched used utattemita versions instead of the original vocaloid ones, and well, i found the NND utattemita tag then. 8D;
first utaite/singer you ever encountered:
utawa sakura (melt), and piko (koi wa sensou). i remembered utawa sakura's melt especially left a very deep impression on me, and i was very confused regarding piko's gender. lol.
first producer you ever encountered:
i think you can tell from the answers above, lol. yup, ryo.

Favorites
favorite vocaloids/UTAUs: i like them all, but my favorites are Rin and Gumi.
favorite producers: wowaka, hachiP, DECO*27
favorite solo singers/utaite: Limone-sensei, Gero, Dasoku, ASK
favorite singing units/collabs: .5 (PointFive) ♥ SekiPikoHan, ASKNeGero (misses this one ;A;)
favorite artists from other yattemita stuff (dancers/musicians, etc): FUKUMEN ;3; PUPI (his dududupei stuff is especially amusing), Tissue-Hime and TEST. Also, ~*MOKA*~

the spotlight and the ranking, especially with the commentary. it helps to know new songs and pick ups a lot. <333

GUMIIIII ♥. I love Hachi and all, but some of his songs depresses me ;_;. Like, happy sounding but not really type LOL. But he sings nice (and he's quite young ._.). You should watch his lives! XDD /prods

yesss. i was so happy there are more and more good songs for her lately! and the depressing part is exactly why i like hachiP's songs. some of them made me cry a lot, especially because they sounds so happy. ;______; ...and young people these days. /sigh I'll give his live a try when i can catch one around! <3
