Introduce Yourself Post.
Hello. This is the sort-of intro post for commenters/readers of ofurotaimu. Remember I said I welcome people to post pimp posts of their own? But I think I might've scared people off or something, idk, but it's not working LOL. So, this is like a replacement for it.
I talk a lot in the community (super lots) but I don't know much about you guys except for those times we flail around in the comments. And it's a bit lonely not knowing people, especially those who aren't registered in LJ or DW since I only know you by name (or worse, IP address, wtf). So, take this as a survey for me and other readers to know more about you and the things that make you happy :). Who knows, you might also meet people who have the same flail material as you do.
So, if you frequent this comm whether you use DW/LJ or none, please please fill this out. All fields are optional, don't answer some questions if you don't want to. I'd love to know everyone's favorites and how you got into the fandom :3. As for the favorites part, take it as your kind of "pimp post" for your favorites so feel free to include links and spazz and whatnot :D. It's your spotlight, so write whatever you want. Just remember, this is a public post which can be read by people everywhere even from Jupiter :D.

◕ how did you get into vocaloid?
Looooooong story! =) I think the first time I heard of vocaloid was when I heard a YT user's cover of "World Is Mine" and I wanted to look up the original. And my little sister liked Rin and tried showing me stuff, but I was kinda meh. Then I saw KokoroXKiseki and I was looping it for the whole weekend (I even blasted it at a friend's party LOL XD). Ah! And Cantarella *w* The amazing art and the little funny skits. The lyrics are so awesome *w* Vocaloid lets producers create songs that are kinda out there/refreshing/new. I likey. =)
◕ how did you get into utattemita?
EDIT: Actually, I got drawn in by Melt (Gazelle's ver). LOL then it went from there~ So when I was looking around for KokoroXKiseki subbed videos on YT, I saw a cover of it by Yamai and Usa. ^^ I was SO SO SO impressed by Yamai's strong singing~ <333 Aww...Usa got kinda overshadowed by Yamai in that song, so I didn't really have an impression of her yet. I think the user was nShaken (YT user) that has a bunch of Uttatemita stuff uploaded and I kept listening to everything till my heart/brain was going to explode from all the epic awesomeness. XD I eventually stumbled upon Tourai awesomeness...I forget how, but I did. XD
◕ first utaite/singer you ever encountered: Yamai, Usa, Tourai [UsaColo] LOL XD and probably Gazelle =)
◕ first producer you ever encountered: Hm...I've been meaning to get to know producers... (will check out your producer spotlights Nikki~). I suppose I'd have to say ryo. LOL XD

◕ favorite vocaloids/UTAUs: GUMI, Rin, Luka, Miku, Len, Kaito, Gakupo (argh, I have to listen to MEIKO more, I'm sure she's lovely. XD) I don't really listen to UTAUs =/
◕ favorite producers: Deco*27 (urgh...he's the only one I kinda know)...I bet there are a lot of producers out there that I love...I just don't know them yet XDD I'll be like YOU WROTE THAT SONG? I LOVE YOUUUUUU. XD So...when I actually know more producers, I'll add to this comment. ^^
◕ favorite solo singers/utaite: clear, Tourai, ShounenT, Usa, Yamai, Wotamin, Hanatan, Kony, Gero, BuzzPanda, Choucho, Asamaru, Nodoame, Yoppei, Valshe, halyosy, etc (there are too many to name...and I'm still learning about new ones~ so do recommend!) ^^
◕ favorite singing units/collabs: Clewota, NeGero, DasoClear, HanatanXPokota, UsaTolieYamai, everyone! ^___^
◕ favorite artists from other yattemita stuff (dancers/musicians, etc): Er...>///< I have yet to explore that part of the site. ^^;;;

I like everything~ The spotlights are really informative *w* And the weekly ranking aids me in my quest of finding new songs/covers (because I fail at navigating NND XD) And the news updates (because I can't read Japanese OTL). I'll try making a MEIKO pimp post or something. MAYBE! She is one of the underappreciated Vocaloids and I think she sounds awesome as long as she's properly tuned :3. I hope you get to know more producers XD;. But yeah, one thing at a time XD;. Most of the time when I like a song sung by anyone, I look for the producer and check his works from there :3. DECO*27 is a good P anyway XD.
