I realized when he announced that he is going to return, a lot of people actually do not know of Faneru/Tennin and only heard of him as one of those who retired from Nico Nico Douga and the one half of Negero's "magnet". I figured this is the best time to re-introduce him. This is a bit hard since none of his networks (mylists, comms, etc.) and even his songs work. I'll be using Youtube links for reference, I hope no one minds!

Faneru started as "Tennin" who uploaded parody songs in Nico Nico Douga. Most of his parodies involve popular songs with themes centered on working on a convenience store (Family Mart, most specifically) which is why he's nicknamed "Tennin" or shop clerk. He also briefly used the name "Te:" (short for Tennin) in his collabs with Pe:. He gained a lot of popularity that he eventually collaborated with other singers and then moved on to covering normal songs (although sometimes still laced with crack). He also did mixing and arranging not only for his own works but other people's.

Faneru's voice is nothing spectacular to be honest, but it has a distinct roughness which makes some of his covers good. His voice quality can be likened to Anima's and ASK's. Most people do not know that he is considered part of Asamakku family and used to join them for collabs and namahousou. He mostly does collabs and is close to ASK, Kogeinu, Gero, Jack and JimuinG.

Sometime March this year, Faneru announced his retirement from Nico Nico Douga due to certain company and stalker issues. This caused quite a ruckus in the NND world and even musicians (G-san) and singers (Kogeinu) cannot hide their disappointment with his leaving. However earlier this month, he announced in his blog his comeback as well as explanations regarding his disappearance. Slowly, he's trying to earn his place in the community again although we've yet to hear a new upload.

I'm glad Faneru's back! I've always liked the Gero x Faneru songs.

- SO TRUUUEEEEE~ I even watched this one vid who mixed ASK's, Anima's, and Faneru's voice into one song. Lol dem, I even thought Faneru's the one doing the second voice in ASK's Aku no Meshitsukai! LOLOL and when I was still not very familiar with them, I confuse their voice in their Mrs. Pumpkin or Magnet when I hear it without the visual guide XD:

- Ah. I'm not sure what G-san did? But Kogeinu did a From K to F cover though, right? and I remember this one person who said his disappointment in one of his lives. Ah, was it G-san? *vaguely remembers it* I read it in one of your twits on the past, I think @__@

I... I really love his Hello Planet ;w; I remember the twin uploads of Nerutan and ASK. I think I'm going to listen to a lot more again if he started uploading songs once more *__*

Thanks for writing a spotlight for him, Nikki! \(^V^)/

I first learned about him when he sang his parody ver of Fire Flower. That's where i started stalking following him. From him i got to know Gero, Kogeinu, Mucchi and ASK. Despite some of his songs doesn't really reach to me, the rest of his covers are awesomely cracked and whut.

I knew how much i love this guy(as a fan....) when i cried for his retirement. I'm glad his back now! CX
