I'm trying to be not as late as usual in posting logs of Weekly Utaran XD. Please don't be confused with changes in the format of my posts, I'm trying to input as much stuff as possible without making the posts hard to read OTL.

• UmiNeko's uploading more songs lately and I'm slowly getting used to hearing his voice (it's pretty nice). This is a rather upbeat song that while not my UmiNeko favorite, is pretty good.

• I'm suddenly reminded of B'z XD. I love [REN]'s voice and songs like this fits his voice so much. I think this is one of my favorite covers by him (my current favorite is still Ocean though XD).

• The original had JinjorP sang along with Miku. I really like this cover by Noaru and Creamzone but sometimes, Noaru sounds too strained with the high notes.

• My reactions when I first saw number 1 and when I listened to it were the same: "Oh wow, Gero". This is a really beautiful cover and while I was rooting for Choucho to get the number 1 spot today, I can't say I'm not impressed by this version. It's almost tearful. Gero, you now have a hit where you don't strain your throat muscles! ♥

• Choucho's back with a wonderful cover of JBF. I love her versatile voice so much. I'm enjoying her series of uploads, and to think that a few months ago, she was whining to Jack and Asamaru about how she can't sing loudly in the house she's staying in XD. Asamaru mixed this song for her.

• So very cute!! I loved Deco*27's own version but I love this the most. Wotamin's been pretty bipolar lately, uploading songs cutesy songs like this and sexy, lady-like ones like Scissorhands. I am enjoying them so much.

• Singers involved here are Choucho, Creamzone, Neko, Luschka, Noaru, Ayumi and RE: with music provided by [Mint], which includes [TEST] and Shobon. Just like with the magnet [mint edition], this cover has a slight jazzy feel to it and I like it. This is, I think, also a promotion for the mint + decaf tour.

• ↓#8 Miimu falls down a bit, but is still strong in the ranking. I want to say something intelligent here, but whenever I see Miimu's name now, I'm reminded of ShounenT and how he giggled and flailed and sang about Miimu, how he loved this song and basically everything that shows how much he likes her XDD.

• Kaichi is in the title because he was the one who mixed the songs. I haven't heard of Tsukiha before but she has a cute, high voice.

• Wotamin is on a roll! I like this cover, even more than I love Tsumi Batsu. doriko is one of my favorite producers and I'm always on the lookout for people who do covers of his songs. Wotamin sang this wonderfully.

• The singers in this song are Soraru, Tentoumushi, terry, Agya, Miichi and Miimu. I loved Anima's version but this is an interesting cover, too. I haven't heard collabs with more than 5 people for a long time (aside from Just Be Friends above).

• Okay. I am even more surprised with this re-entry LOL! This was uploaded...July 2009? But I haven't seen it in the rankings for October-December. Wow. Anyway, this is one of the first JBF covers I've listened to and the song that got me into halyosy (aside from Konbini). I am amused that it's back in the countdown.




So many old songs have found their way back to the ranking while the usual suspects seem to have dropped out! XD This is a really interesting week for me and I wonder if the oldies will persist until next week or will they be overrun by the usual people again? :3
