Weekly Vocaloid Ranking #157 (092710-100410)
This week's Vocaranking has a lot of remains of last week's but that doesn't mean it's not a good week. The new songs are really nice, and in various genres, too.

01. Kimi no te, Boku no te (Hatsune Miku) - 40mP
- Sob. I love this song as much as I love LiveP's GUMI song. It seems that we're getting ballads as number 1 more and more. This one is one of 40mP's better ballads, with bass lacing clear piano melody and Miku wonderfully tuned against them. The song ascends into a full violin-piano melody that's nothing short of beautiful. Gah, 40mP needs to write more ballads like this.
02. Uso to Diamond (GUMI) - Yucha
- I found this song really nice with rock melody that isn't hard on the ears and an interesting drum melody. However, I didn't expect this to be this high! Wow. GUMI's tuning is awesome and she doesn't drown under the strong guitars. The PV is also something to commend on.
03. Matryoshka (GUMI x Hatsune Miku) - hachi
- ↑05 Last week, I asked how amazing it can get. It just did! FFFFF.
04. Green Straight (GUMI) - LiveP
- This kind of music is something I rarely hear from LiveP to be honest! The refreshing beat with a mixture of sounds from different instruments and the airy piano and violin melody. Not to mention GUMI, who sounds a bit shaky but not awkward and swerving into odd notes! This is a truly beautiful song and is probably my favorite LiveP song to date. Wotamin also wonderfully covered this song, if you prefer hearing it sung by a person.
05. Heart Groove (Hatsune Miku) - SuketchP
- I am not so much into SuketchP's music, but this is an okay song. It reminds me of HachioujiP for some reason. The beat is usual upbeat pop rising in to a full blown techno-pop piece with Miku's voice fighting for dominance with the beats. The rap was kind of a surprise, though XDD;. All those stuff work along well, though, making this song something good to listen to dance to.
06. Antidichlorobenzene (Kagamine Rin) - OwataP
- ↓01 This one is nearing 500k views, I think we have a new mainstay.
07. My Room Disco Night (GUMI, Luka, Miku) - EasyPop

08. cry (Megurine Luka) - Yuyoyuppe
- Another awesome screamo song from the one who does it best.
09. Last Song (Megurine Luka) - fatmanP

10. Mozaik Role (GUMI) - DECO*27

11. Orange Soot Rope (Hatsune Miku) - Mix Modern
- I have no idea if I romanized the song well, but I fell in love with the quiet, tinkling melody in this song that reminds me of old winter songs. The instruments are really played softly with scattered strings and chimes all throughout the song. Miku also sounds breathy and soft and relaxing. It's a song that gives you a peaceful, cheery scenery.
12. Ketten Script (Kagamine Rin) - LamazeP
- How long has it been since I heard a LamazeP song? This one is very much like his usual style, upbeat with a slightly videogame-like melody. Rin sounds nice and reminds me of LiveP's tuning.

- Gah, I love this. The piano melody is really interesting, nearing on jazz, and unlike the usual stuff we hear. Miku seemed mellowed down to fit the piano melody and it worked.

- Also called "Time Killing Wanderer". DeadballP comes up with another pop-ish song with a rather weird message. I've always loved DeadballP's guitars, although his Miku as always, sounds so shrill at times ^^;.
20. SALVATION (Miki) - becket
- It's cheering to see MIKI and other Vocaloids earning their spots in the ranking with lovely songs. This song has dull techno beats pulsating just behind Miki's crisp voice, so her voice surfaces really clearly. There's something missing in the melody, though, like there needs to be an addition somewhere, I can't put my finger on it...

- This is my first time hearing Iroha and she doesn't sound bad at all against the guitar melody. Her cute voice sounds well against Miki's slightly deep one.

- A song about Twitter?w The guitars sound good especially at those skipping parts, although Miki needs some more work to sound less floaty (IDK how to describe it).

As for Kyougenkuse (Nekomura Iroha x Miki), I think the slightly deeper voice is Iroha's? I've listened to her other songs and demo before, and her voice sounds like the deeper one's. (Many people commented on how it doesn't suit her design, but strangely enough her voice starts to grow on me).
