piaproWhen Lily was to be released to the public, a Lily test bank was released for producers to test out her program before the original one is released. There is also a Lily contest where producers are encouraged to submit songs made for Lily. What do these things have to do with today's spotlight? These events are what made niki a "Legendary Lily Master", according to fans.
Niki started uploading songs only last August but has put out six works in total, all of them Lily-based. He has gained admiration not only from Lily fans but from other producers as well because of the high quality of his songs despite him being new to uploading.
Niki's genre is mostly Vocarock/Vocaleamo, utilizing guitars and drums. His guitars are especially good and his earlier two works are reminiscent of old school J-rock songs while the newer ones are near buzzG or DevilishP's styles. While most of his songs are upbeat, though, the messages are more often than not, morbid and sad. He tunes Lily very well despite Lily being a new product and he continues to improve until now. He does not have a specific pattern of tuning Vocaloids like, let's say NekomushiP. Sometimes, Lily comes in strong and high but sometimes she is played smoothly and low.
With regards to the intro above, Niki initially used the Lily test bank to up his songs. He wrote 4 Lily songs using the test bank despite the time constraint it has. Eventually, he bought the real thing and released two more songs. Niki's second song, Yubi Enpitsu, won (with other songs) the Lily original song contest.

Limiternikki saysWhen I first heard of niki, I was amused because we have the same name. Then
the_desserter also expressed her interest in niki's works and we spent some twitter time spazzing over REVERSE and ERROR, which are technically my favorites from niki's works. I like how he managed to bring out Lily's potential without making Lily sound almost identical to existing Vocaloids. I also enjoy how niki's works are all rock, but they have a distinct attitude. Niki's works sound really similar to other Vocarock works, but the addition of techno beats and other elements makes his works stand out. Until now, niki remains my favorite Lily composer, the second being
sele.
If you like Vocarock, not necessarily Lily, you should listen to niki. You might end up liking Lily, too.
