Hue (ふえ)

Hue (I used to call him Fue to be loyal to the hiragana, but I guess he preferred this way) started his Utattemita career sometime last year. He is not a prominent singer although he is a prolific one, mostly because he works with collaborations (choruses, etc.). His voice is also probably not very popular with the listeners. Still, he is one of those lesser known singers I like.
Hue has a deep, nasal voice. Instead of exuding eroi vibes (a la REN or Dasoku), his voice is more of "echoing". He sounds very nice in ballads, but he likes exploring other genre, surprisingly even high songs, which he somehow manages to pull off well. You'd expect someone of his voice to sing more Gakupo/KAITO songs, but I think he sings more Rin and Miku songs XD;. He also does a lot of duets/choruses, but I prefer it when he sings solo.
sample songs
• Yami Iro Alice (original by samfree)
• Dear -remix edition- (original by 19's Sound Factory)
• Alice (original by FullkawaP)
• Pierrot (original by Jimmythumb)
• Atoms (original by HeavenzP)
• Hatsune Miku no Tomadoi (LONG VERSION) (original by cosMo)

I first heard of Hue in his "Alice" cover, which surprised me a little since that time I seldom hear male covers of the song. I thought it sounded really good. But what made me like Hue's voice is definitely his cover of "Atoms". I really love that HeavenzP song (and not because it's full of scientific terms ok XD) so I was bent on looking for good covers of it. "Atoms" for me is a pretty difficult song to sing, having high and low notes alternating. It's one of those songs that everyone likes, but no one covers (like Tourai's Fairyland coughcough). I love Hue's cover of the song, not because it's one of the few uploaded versions but because he managed to sing it clearly. My other favorite from him would be "Hatsune Miku no Tomadoi" because it's different from his other covers.
I also like some of his collabs, like "Rinascita" with io and that random "Ishidatami no Akeki Akuma" collab but I prefer listening to his voice as a soloist :).
