As with last year, here is the huge annual utattemita ranking for 2011. As all of these songs have been featured in the Weekly Utaran (multiple times even!), I won't be including small details. I'll just be including the Romanized title, the singer, and the original composer. As my Internet is acting up as usual, I wasn't able to include links to the mylists and all that but I hope you understand :).

You can refer to this ranking like the "overall weekly ranking" in weekly utaran minus the new videos. These are songs not uploaded in 2011 but have gained tons views, comments and mylists from 12-25-2010 to 12-25-2011. As expected, some of them are also the highest viewed, commented and mylisted videos of all time in this category. This list is also in reverse, from 100 to 001.

Aaand there you have them. I apologize for being a day late. And because I'm late and it's a Monday (which is Utaran day), I'll have to move the first ever Weekly Utaran writeup for 2012 tomorrow. So sorry! But I'm sure you've enjoyed this one btw. This can also be a good guide for you to backtrack the popular songs last year, discover new songs and new singers.

This week has a lot of new songs from popular utaite, as well as some remnants from last week. Half of the ranking is also composed of the highly successful bandwagon song, Senbonzakura. You can see a wonderful transition portion at the lower part of the ranking, consisting only of Senbonzakura singers XD;.

I'm so late. Sorry. There's a lot going on right now which I can't enumerate so yeah. The Vocaran is also late. I'll...upload it tomorrow. I really am very sorry T_T;

Anyway, this week has a bandwagon song and that's 40mP's Shiryokukensa, so you'll be seeing a lot of eyesight test covers today. There's quite a few returners this week, too, if you might notice. There are also some repeating names (Glutamine, 96neko, Wotamin...) but there are also a lot of left-overs from the previous week. Anyway, it's not a letdown or an impressive week, pretty normal but there are still a lot to check out.

Today's week is interesting for two reasons: 1) there's a new CM meme people will cover over the next days; 2) There is quite a large number of covers of non-Vocaloid songs.

The CM I'm talking about is this one. If I'm not mistaken, this is an ad for a deodorant and the singing boy does not seem to have any connection to the product aside from the fact that he is cute. Of course, when covers come up, crack ensues. You do the discovering XD.

As mentioned in the past post, the utaran is now color-coded according to the colors in the Utaran video.

Weekly Utattemita Ranking #120 (Feb. 14-21, 2011)

We have a weak week for this ranking, with very few covers from people we know. Buuuut that means there's a lot of opportunity to know lesser known singers who sound equally amazing. You might see a lot of unfamiliar names in the lower parts, but the top parts are definitely dominated by people you see A LOT in the ranking XD;. And yes, there are more Panda Heroes.

Please do not mind my half-asleep comments. I'm tired from running around all day and my boss deprived me of a delicious Korean beef stew lunch. Yes, I am bearing a grudge because of that. Anyway, let's go to the ranking w/ my lame comments ^^;.

Weekly Utattemita Ranking #115 (January 10-17, 2011)

This week is awesome! There are a lot of good covers (most of them bandwagoning to a couple of songs but who cares) and the ones retained are the old favorites as well. It's surprising that all the songs that rose last week now fell, probably because of the influx of new songs.
