Introduce Yourself Post.

Hello. This is the sort-of intro post for commenters/readers of ofurotaimu. Remember I said I welcome people to post pimp posts of their own? But I think I might've scared people off or something, idk, but it's not working LOL. So, this is like a replacement for it.

I talk a lot in the community (super lots) but I don't know much about you guys except for those times we flail around in the comments. And it's a bit lonely not knowing people, especially those who aren't registered in LJ or DW since I only know you by name (or worse, IP address, wtf). So, take this as a survey for me and other readers to know more about you and the things that make you happy :). Who knows, you might also meet people who have the same flail material as you do.

So, if you frequent this comm whether you use DW/LJ or none, please please fill this out. All fields are optional, don't answer some questions if you don't want to. I'd love to know everyone's favorites and how you got into the fandom :3. As for the favorites part, take it as your kind of "pimp post" for your favorites so feel free to include links and spazz and whatnot :D. It's your spotlight, so write whatever you want. Just remember, this is a public post which can be read by people everywhere even from Jupiter :D.

Tsugai Kogarashi is a beautiful song and wow! Your first exposure was with the first Vocaloids too XD. Mmm...The singer in the Gintama AMV is named "Suna" but other than that I don't know anything ^^;.

It's rare for people to like MEIKO, but she has wonderful songs (she's Wotamin's favorite, too ;;). I like KonkiP's MEIKO (and Kaito duets!) the most~. shu-t is also nice.

Choucho and Jack is a unit. There is a name for them but I forgot ;;. I like their duets, too and I think they should sing more. As with the Valshe spotlight, she's already popular, but I'll see what I can do :D.

PeperonP! I love how he is so diverse with his works. You can never get tired of his compositions XD;. Wow, second person to like shu-t! I like some of his works but I'm totally new to him (as with MachigeritaP), must explore more. ShinjoP's works hook me because for some reason his songs sound so mystical to me ^^;;;. And a fellow Xiao fan!!! I really, really think he needs more love LOL.

Hi Dino!

Servant of Evil makes me cry no matter what form it comes. It's sad that everyone had had a tragic ending in the song (whether physically or emotionally) :(. It's still my favorite mothy work. Alice Human Sacrifice by Tourai, Usa, etc. is amazing, isn't it? I love the narration at the start (esp. Yamai's and Tourai's but I'm biased). It is the first group collab I've heard of, too :).

I found ShounenT/Nayuu very cute ;_;♥. They're like a younger clewota to me (not that I'm comparing them, I meant the chemistry). As for the Super Mario guy........ I've never heard of him before but wow. And he has an official site :O.

Melt (both original and covers) was also a big part of my initiation to Vocaloid/Utattemita. It's like magnet of the older days = it's all over the place XD.

Later on I discovered just how deep of a hole utattemita fandom was and I cried.
Y-yeah...who knew this would be a very time-consuming fandom...Actually, I feel the same as you, I used to feel that some songs are better off sung by humans so I search for covers. But eventually that feeling wore off (too used?). Now there are some songs which I think sound better when sung by Vocaloids ^^;.

Oh crap I forgot about Teto. I like her too! She's the first UTAU I learned of so~. And I cannot blame you for liking Clear/Vivienne (...clevivi?), I love their Tsugai Kogarashi *_*.

I see you've been enabled XD;. Luka was also my first female Vocaloid, since before there were Miku songs that I can't like because of her high voice. Luka sounds more soothing and humanly, so I appreciated her more than Miku :3. (As for len...well, Len is special so XD)

LOLOL Minato and his magnet-ism :3. Asamakku fan! They're the best dose of fluff and innocent crack XD;. I tried getting into Usa Colony before, but I don't know much about them aside from UsaYamaTolie(doriko) so ;_;.

I saw a lot of amazing fanarts around and heard quite some of vocaloid songs being used for MADs (especially Miku's ever famous World is Mine), so I got curious. some of the MADs I watched used utattemita versions instead of the original vocaloid ones, and well, i found the NND utattemita tag then. 8D;

Looooooong story! =) I think the first time I heard of vocaloid was when I heard a YT user's cover of "World Is Mine" and I wanted to look up the original. And my little sister liked Rin and tried showing me stuff, but I was kinda meh. Then I saw KokoroXKiseki and I was looping it for the whole weekend (I even blasted it at a friend's party LOL XD). Ah! And Cantarella *w* The amazing art and the little funny skits. The lyrics are so awesome *w* Vocaloid lets producers create songs that are kinda out there/refreshing/new. I likey. =)

EDIT: Actually, I got drawn in by Melt (Gazelle's ver). LOL then it went from there~ So when I was looking around for KokoroXKiseki subbed videos on YT, I saw a cover of it by Yamai and Usa. ^^ I was SO SO SO impressed by Yamai's strong singing~ <333 Aww...Usa got kinda overshadowed by Yamai in that song, so I didn't really have an impression of her yet. I think the user was nShaken (YT user) that has a bunch of Uttatemita stuff uploaded and I kept listening to everything till my heart/brain was going to explode from all the epic awesomeness. XD I eventually stumbled upon Tourai awesomeness...I forget how, but I did. XD

That's true for me, too! Since I sometimes can't take Miku's voice, I ended up liking utaite more XD;. But now is a different story, too :3.

Yuu and Fukuwa! These two are quite eccentric in terms of song choices and singing style but they are awesome =v=b
