Apologies for being late. I have no Internet at home and I just snuck!wrote this while I'm busy with work. I'll try my best to post Vocaran later or tomorrow, too. I'm sad that I don't get to flail much with the songs since I can't load Nico Nico Douga here at all so please ignore my lack of witty comments. There are a LOT of wonderful new songs this week, particularly in the top ten. There's also a gratuitous amount of crack and parodies. There is also a ton of tapir song covers XD. A couple of singers here in the ranking are more known in the namahousou part of NND and just crossed over here. Hope you enjoy them despite the boring writeup!

PS: You may also notice the lack of "overall ranking" data in my writeup. It's because I can't load the video to see them ^^;. Ignore those for now as I'll add them later when I find an opportunity to watch the video. Sorry again.

This week is full of collabs and pairings, so expect to see a lot of them filling the rankings. You might notice last week that there is a slight bandwagoning of Suki Kirai? Well, it's not dying down and you'll even see more of them next week.

Anyway, you might notice that the Weekly Utaran has changed video dimensions (it's clearer and wider now!) as well as frame designs XD. I feel bad for not mentioning last week, but the portions are now of different colors (new uploads is blue, overall ranking is purple, pickup is light blue and history is orange). Utaran-san made great efforts to customize the presentation to everyone's viewing comforts, too, with all the data collected in the sides and properly labeled. Of course, make sure you stare hard at the screen at the rank intervals because Hibiki (if you don't know who Hibiki is...he's the Utaran mascot) appears in the frames, too XD.

So, this ranking is now color-coded. The links have colors specific to the portions so as to avoid confusion. The song names are still clickable, by the way. Please tell me if it looks okay or not. If not, I'll revert to the old format!

You might notice that dreamwidth's celebrating Three Weeks for Dreamwidth, which commemorates the site's anniversary. We're very thankful to DW for giving us a place for this comm as well as giving invites so you guys can make journals so we'd like to participate in the celebration as well. The thing is we haven't thought of what to do XD. But we will, somehow, so please wait for it XD. Weekly Utattemita Ranking #115 (January 10-17, 2011)

This week is awesome! There are a lot of good covers (most of them bandwagoning to a couple of songs but who cares) and the ones retained are the old favorites as well. It's surprising that all the songs that rose last week now fell, probably because of the influx of new songs. I'm sure you have an idea of what's in the top, but you might still be surprised by one or two of them~.

Annual Utattemita Ranking 2010 (12-25-09 to 12-25-10)

As what I've done last year, here's the writeup for the massive, massive annual utattemita ranking 2010. Since this is a large list, I won't be including some of the stuff I include in the weekly utaran. For this, I'll only be posting the Romanized/translated title of the song, the singer/mylist and the link to the original song. Since most of these songs are from the weekly utarans all throughout 2010, I'll also spare you my spazz unless I can't keep myself quiet :D. Onto the 5-part special!

UTATTEMITA VIDEOS BEST 100

You can refer to this ranking like the "overall weekly ranking" in weekly utaran. These are songs not uploaded in 2010 but have gained tons views, comments and mylists from 12-25-2009 to 12-25-2010. As expected, some of them are also the highest viewed, commented and mylisted videos of all time in this category. I did not elaborate on them like I did in the main ranking since you know most of these songs already, I bet XD. This list is also in reverse, from 100 to 001.

WHEW. That took me a long time. I hope you enjoyed this annual ranking as much as I did. While I expected some songs to be in the ranking but did not end up there at all, I guess the top spots are pretty predictable, aren't they? :D
