Utaran is a little late tonight so I'm running low on energy (it's 1AM ^^;). I'll make this quick. There's not much that's new in the ranking. Okay, this is a massive, massive list. It consists of four parts! Because of it's...um, massiveness, I won't be including some of the details I usually include in the normal rankings. FFFFFFF I'll just include my pointless comments hahaha. Whoever did this is epic! Anyway, on to the yearly countdown. I have a feeling on what the number 1 song is, honestly XD;.

• I love this song when Rin and Len sang it and this is an amazing cover! Pupi mixed this song for Eri and Akane, btw. The high voices tend to be a bit strained and you notice it at the end of Rin's lines, but I think that's okay.

• I don't know much about Kakichoco but I definitely love her covers. Her Yume Sakura with Valshe was amazing and so are her other "hits". This is what I think is another hit. The first part starts off as slow and suddenly you're submerged into very fast techno beat with Kakichoco's superb vocals.

• Kettaro mixed this song for her. Mikarin is an unknown name to me. Her voice reminds of Usa, Hanatan types: High and has the tendency to get shrill, but since this is a gentle song, she sounds okay :). There are some high parts that sound awkwardly sung though.

Weekly Utaran #51 (October 19-26, 2009)

Instead of posting lots of songs (new picks) weekly, I am considering posting about the Nico Nico Utattemita rankings instead :). This is basically just like the Vocaloid ranking. The ranking videos have three parts:

1. The weekly top ten, where the top ten releases of the week are shown.
2. The overall top 30 for the week, where the top 30 songs of the week, regardless of when it was uploaded, are shown.
3. New picks, where songs that aren't in the countdown but should have more viewers are shown.

The computation of the total points is as follows:

number of views + number of comments (x correction value) + number of mylists x 50
[correction value: percentage sum of views + mylists]

I'll try to be as updated with this as possible, LOL. I will not include the new picks for now. Links to the nicovideo are included as well as some information. You may download the .mp3 file by inputting the link @ nicosound. Enjoy!

New Shiny Stuff

Why do I have the feeling that September is the month of uploading for Nico Nico singers? I had to wade through over 50 pages of uploads and not even reach half of the month's uploads, LOL. The shiny stuff today are still from singers we are familiar with. There are new people mixed in, though, so please check them out, too :3.
