• How long has it been since I've seen Yuu in the ranking (I think he was in it until November of last year). This one isn't a very strong cover by him or it could be because I've been looping Anima's since forever. Honestly, though, I think he can do better ^^.

• I haven't heard of doriemon before but this is a beautiful cover! Her deep voice is just right for the harmonica melody. I am definitely in love with this cover (and the original by...how do you read his name ;;; ■P is good, too!)

• This song is part of the Utaite Tsunagu album for winter and it was just uploaded yesterday ^^;. Clear's voice rang through this cover, as we're used to. He is really the king of ballads for me :3.

Wow, I can't believe I'm NOT catching up XDD;. They are piling up /cry. Anyway, I've discovered a lot of Nico singers thanks to the countdown, so writing this down is also helpful to me ;3. Now, to keep up with the weekly updates...

• I love this song when Rin and Len sang it and this is an amazing cover! Pupi mixed this song for Eri and Akane, btw. The high voices tend to be a bit strained and you notice it at the end of Rin's lines, but I think that's okay.

• I don't know much about Kakichoco but I definitely love her covers. Her Yume Sakura with Valshe was amazing and so are her other "hits". This is what I think is another hit. The first part starts off as slow and suddenly you're submerged into very fast techno beat with Kakichoco's superb vocals.

• Kettaro mixed this song for her. Mikarin is an unknown name to me. Her voice reminds of Usa, Hanatan types: High and has the tendency to get shrill, but since this is a gentle song, she sounds okay :). There are some high parts that sound awkwardly sung though.

• I think this is an amazing cover. Terry singing while Oredan provides background beat <3.

• Lasah is also a new name to me. She has a rather deep and strong voice that reminds me of Yamai, that is why the song is a bit awkward when she sung it (she can't reach the high notes clearly). However the alternative/rockish way it was sung it kinda cool.

• LOL a very short one by Yoppei. This guy always surprises me. I love him.

It's been a long time since I last posted a spotlight, LOL. And no, I don't think I'm anywhere near finishing the new stuff list orz. Let's take things slowly, shall we?


みーちゃん (Mi-chan)

The recent karaoke event made almost everyone I know love Miichan (or Mi-chan. Or Mii-chan. IDK!).

Mi-chan is not a very popular Nico singer, but he's gaining popularity fast. Yeah, he already has 700+ members in his mixi community, but that's still nothing compared to uh...Clear's 4350 or Dasoku's 3096 members XD;. He has a very nice voice very much like Dasoku's and Panyo's. Some of nicovideo uploads are tagged "the three ero brothers" referring to him as the youngest, Panyo as the middle and Dasoku as the eldest. How nice! XD

Because Youtube embeds are slowing our browsing, I decided to just post YT links as...well, links. :) Also, the playlist is now arranged from earliest upload to latest so it'll be easier to update. I'm also including the composers in the notes, so you'll be acquainted with them :).
