Weekly Utattemita Ranking # 116 (January 17-24, 2011)

This week is awesome because there are many, many wonderful covers from people we all know and love. The new number one caused a lot of songs from the same singer to return to the ranking. Some of the songs I expected to stay dropped out while some I didn't expect to excel rose far above others. I'm pleasantly surprised with some, so let's get started with this week.

There aren't so many new things this week, most of them are bandwagoning to either Yuyoyuppe's or Kurousa's new songs. Anyway, there is also a certain number 1 this week that made a ton of her other works return to the rankings XD.

Annual Utattemita Ranking 2010 (12-25-09 to 12-25-10)

Happy 2011! あけましておめでとうございます！

As what I've done last year, here's the writeup for the massive, massive annual utattemita ranking 2010. Since this is a large list, I won't be including some of the stuff I include in the weekly utaran. For this, I'll only be posting the Romanized/translated title of the song, the singer/mylist and the link to the original song. Since most of these songs are from the weekly utarans all throughout 2010, I'll also spare you my spazz unless I can't keep myself quiet :D. Onto the 5-part special!

The main part of this special is the Utattemita Ranking 2010. This is a ranked list of the best 100 songs uploaded from 12-25-2009 to 12-25-2010 which had gained a lot of views, mylists and comments. Here is the list from 100 to 001.

NICO NICO INDIES x UTATTEMITA RANKING # 01-30

This ranking include songs uploaded in 2010 and have both "Nico Nico Indies" and "Utattemita" written in their tags. Some of them are collaborations between a Vocaloid producer and an utaite. This list is also in reverse, from 30 to 01.

UTATTEMITA VIDEOS BEST 100

You can refer to this ranking like the "overall weekly ranking" in weekly utaran. These are songs not uploaded in 2010 but have gained tons views, comments and mylists from 12-25-2009 to 12-25-2010. As expected, some of them are also the highest viewed, commented and mylisted videos of all time in this category. I did not elaborate on them like I did in the main ranking since you know most of these songs already, I bet XD. This list is also in reverse, from 100 to 001.

WHEW. That took me a long time. I hope you enjoyed this annual ranking as much as I did. While I expected some songs to be in the ranking but did not end up there at all, I guess the top spots are pretty predictable, aren't they? :D

Weekly Utattemita Ranking #111 (December 13-20, 2010)

This week is a bit late due to some problems with Nico Nico Douga's encoding system. Anyway, this week will have a lot of old faces rising up due to 1) a newly released album, 2) someone being just plain popular, and 3) the new number 1. While there is a lot of movement in the ranks by the old songs, there are also a ton of new songs to enjoy. Overall, this is a really good ranking with very interesting twists (LOL Glutam(ry ) so please do read on.

Weekly Utattemita Ranking #109 (November 29 to December 06, 2010)

This is late (and the rest might be late, too) because of certain difficulties as I have no Internet at home and my work has blocked Nico Nico Douga. I apologize for delays in the future, too, if this kind of fail happens for a long time OTL.

Anyway, a big thanks to stephieku and the person who uploads the weekly utaran himself (who is so kind, I don't even...), I managed to get the ranking list and just...listened to them one by one instead of the ranking itself. I might miss some comments re: some of the songs, so sorry ;;. Anyway, on to the ranking, which is pretty predictable given the songs released this week :). There are tons of new songs, there wasn't much space for the oldies to cling on :(.

PS: The Vocaloid links in the blurbs inevitably lead to nicosound because it's what I used to listen to the songs ^^;. I'll try changing them but for now, please tolerate them Y_Y; Hopefully fixed the links back to Nicovideo.
